I am a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience helping clients with healing and change. I work with individuals and groups.
I am always eager to do ongoing professional development. My credentials include postgraduate psychoanalytical training at the Karen Horney Institute, and Modern Psychoanalysis Analysis, coaching studies with Growth, Inc., and Mentor Coach, and group studies at The Center for Group Studies.
My most recent learning is understanding the brain's complexity and the effects of trauma and stress on the body and the nervous system. My clinical approach to healing and change is to help the individual to develop and sustain positive patterns of resilience and coping with insight and the use of self-regulatory behavior.
Other experience includes facilitating motivational and emotional growth groups and workshops. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, and the physically challenged in the New York public school system and various mental health organizations. Presently, my focus treatment is working with individuals and group work.
